OUR CLUBS



Todd Beamer High School offers many clubs that help students grow academically, socially, and personally. Our clubs are important because they give students the chance to explore their interests, build leadership skills, and connect with other students who share similar passions. By joining clubs, students can develop teamwork, communication, and responsibility while becoming more involved with our school community. Participation in activities such as leadership group and academic clubs also helps students build strong resumes for college and future careers. Overall, clubs at Todd Beamer High School help students feel more connected to their school while preparing them for success after graduation.



AFJROTC



The AFJROTC helps develop leadership, discipline, and teamwork among students. Through activities such as leadership training, community service, physical fitness, and drill competitions, cadets learn responsibility and build confidence while working together toward common goals. The program also encourages respect, citizenship, and personal growth, helping students prepare for college, careers, and future leadership opportunities in their communities.



ART CLUB



The Art Club provides students with a creative space to express themselves through different forms of art such as drawing, painting, and design. The club allows students to explore their artistic talents, share ideas, and collaborate with others who enjoy art. Being part of the Art Club helps students build creativity, confidence, and teamwork while contributing to the school community through projects, displays, and events.



ASIAN CULTURE CLUB



The Asian Culture provides students with an opportunity to learn about and celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Asian communities. The club helps students build cultural awareness and appreciation through activities such as cultural events, discussions, food, art, and celebrations of important holidays. It also creates a welcoming space where students can share their backgrounds, learn from one another, and build friendships.



BLACK STUDENT UNION



The Black Student Union provides a supportive space where students can celebrate Black culture, history, and identity while building a strong sense of community. The club encourages leadership, open discussion, and cultural awareness through meetings, events, and educational activities. It also helps promote inclusion and respect within the school by giving students opportunities to share experiences, learn about important historical contributions, and support one another.



CRAFT CLUB



The Craft Club gives students a fun and creative space to make handmade projects such as decorations, cards, and other artistic crafts. The club allows students to relax, express their creativity, and learn new crafting skills while working with others who enjoy making things by hand. It also encourages teamwork and creativity through group projects and school events.



DECA



The DECA chapter helps students develop leadership, business, marketing, and entrepreneurship skills. Through competitions, workshops, and real-world business scenarios, students learn how to solve problems, communicate effectively, and work as a team. DECA also provides opportunities for students to compete at regional, state, and national levels while building confidence and professional experience.



DRAMA



The Drama Club gives students the opportunity to explore theater, acting, and stage production. Members participate in plays, musicals, and other performances, developing skills in public speaking, creativity, teamwork, and confidence. The club also encourages collaboration as students work together on scripts, sets, costumes, and directing.



DRUMLINE



The Drumline is a dynamic student group that focuses on percussion performance, often as part of the school’s marching band or at special events. Members develop musical skills, rhythm, teamwork, and discipline while performing at games, assemblies, and competitions. The Drumline also teaches leadership and collaboration as students coordinate complex routines and support the larger band.



DUNGEONS & DRAGONS



The Dungeons & Dragons Club gives students a space to explore creativity, storytelling, and strategic thinking through tabletop role-playing games. Members work together to create characters, develop stories, and solve challenges in collaborative campaigns, which builds problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. The club also encourages imagination, critical thinking, and social connection among students who share a love for gaming and fantasy worlds



ENGLISH CLUB



The English Club provides students with a space to explore literature, improve writing skills, and engage in discussions about books, poetry, and language. Members participate in reading activities, writing workshops, debates, and literary events, which help build communication, critical thinking, and creativity. The club also encourages collaboration and sharing of ideas, allowing students to connect over a love of language and storytelling.



HISPANIC AND LATIN CLUB



The Hispanic and Latin Club celebrates the diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Hispanic and Latin communities. The club gives students the opportunity to learn about cultural heritage through events, music, food, and discussions, while promoting inclusion and understanding within the school. Members can share their own backgrounds, build friendships, and participate in cultural activities that foster appreciation and respect for diversity.



KEY CLUB



The Key Club is a student-led service organization that focuses on community service, leadership, and personal development. Members participate in volunteer projects, fundraisers, and school events that help make a positive impact in their community. Through these activities, students develop skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and leadership while building meaningful connections with peers.



National Honor Society (NHS)



The National Honor Society (NHS) recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, service, and character. Members participate in community service projects, school events, and leadership activities that promote personal growth and contribute to the school community. Being part of NHS helps students develop responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills while encouraging high standards of integrity and scholarship.



PRIDE CLUB



The Pride Club provides a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ students and allies to connect, share experiences, and promote inclusivity. The club organizes events, discussions, and awareness activities that foster understanding, respect, and acceptance within the school community. Members build friendships, develop leadership skills, and support one another in a welcoming environment.



PACIFIC ISLANDER CLUB



The Pacific Islander Club celebrates the cultures, traditions, and heritage of Pacific Islander communities. The club provides students with opportunities to learn about and share their cultural backgrounds through events, discussions, performances, and community activities. It also promotes inclusion, understanding, and respect among students while fostering a sense of belonging.



ROBOTICS



The Robotics Club gives students the opportunity to design, build, and program robots while learning important STEM skills such as engineering, coding, and problem-solving. Members collaborate on projects and participate in competitions, developing teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking along the way. The club also encourages leadership and innovation as students tackle challenges and apply technology to real-world problems.



SELF CARE CLUB



The Self Care Club provides students with a supportive environment to focus on mental health, wellness, and personal growth. Members learn and practice strategies for managing stress, building healthy habits, and improving overall well-being through activities such as mindfulness exercises, discussions, and creative projects. The club encourages students to prioritize self-care while promoting a positive and caring school community.



Speech & Debate



The Speech and Debate Club at Todd Beamer High School gives students the opportunity to develop strong public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation skills. Members practice delivering speeches, participating in debates, and competing in tournaments where they learn to research topics, build persuasive arguments, and communicate effectively. The club encourages confidence, teamwork, and respectful discussion of different viewpoints.
